How long is the actual travel time?

Both journeys are overnight by AC Tempo Traveller, roughly 10 to 12 hours each way depending on traffic. You leave Bengaluru the evening before day 1 and get back before 7 AM after day 3.

Do I have to do the paramotoring?

No. It is optional and charged separately at Rs 4,500 per person. Plenty of people skip it and spend the morning on the beach instead. It also depends on the weather and the operator on the day.

Is this a good trip if I am travelling alone?

Yes, that is who it is built for. The group is capped at 10 solo travellers, and days 1 and 2 both end with the whole group together, so you are not eating dinner on your own.

Things to Know

Travel is overnight in both directions. We leave Bengaluru the evening before day 1 and reach back before 7 AM the morning after day 3.
Day 2's water activity may be mangrove kayaking or a traditional country boat. Which one runs depends on weather, water level and operator availability on the day.
Paramotoring is optional, costs Rs 4,500 per person, and runs only when weather and the operator allow it.
Toddy is entirely optional. The visit is about the place and the food around it.
Day 2 dinner is at a cafe on the cliff with up to Rs 400 per person covered. Anything above that is yours.
The group is capped at 10 travellers.
